Paronella Park — the Dream continues…
Everyone has a dream but not everyone's dreams are fulfilled. José Paronella’s dream was to build a castle. He chose a special part of Australia and created Paronella Park. On 13 acres beside Mena Creek Falls (about a 1 hour drive South of Cairns) he built his castle, picnic areas at the lakeside, tennis courts, tunnels and bridges, and wrapped it up in an amazing range of 7,000 tropical plants and trees.
This multi–award winner attraction is Heritage listed and part of the National Trust. Included in the admission price: The Dream Continues Tour (45 min guided walk providing you with the history of the Park), Bushtucker Walks, Indigenous Cultural Performances and the Darkness Falls Tour. Our B&B is only 4.5 Klms (< 2 miles) to the CBD and approximately 15 minutes from the airport. Each Queen sized room has a private entrance, LCD flat screen TV, tea/coffee facilities, small fridge, Free access to the Internet including Wi-Fi, and 2 rooms have spa bathtubs.

Marlin Waters Beachfront Apartments are located in Sunny Palm Cove directly opposite patrolled beach. All apartments are 1 bedroom with ocean views. Easy walk to shops and restaurants.

All of our apartments are fully self-contained offering two bedrooms, which have a queen size bed in 1 bedroom, and two single beds in the other. A 5th guest can be accommodated on the sofa bed or rollaway.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all cooking facilities including, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. All crockery, cutlery and linen are supplied. Each apartment has cable television, air-conditioning and ceiling fans as well as private balconies. Tinaroo Haven Holiday Lodge is located in the Cairns hinterland known as The Atherton Tablelands, just over an hours drive from Cairns in Tropical North Queensland, Australia, the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. We are situated 200 metres from lake Tinaroo, an area famed for all year round Barramundi Fishing as well as water sports. Although we are situated 200 metres from the lake, views of the lake have been obscured by the forest growth which surrounds the property. The nearest boat ramp is approximately 1km (drive) from the property.
Tinaroo Haven Holiday lodge is centrally located and consists of a high level pole house (Al’s look-out) and a timber home (Percy’s Hide-Away). The two houses, although next door to each other, are separated by a covered walkway and each have their own private entrances, verandahs and entertainment areas. The property has been designed to provide views of the surrounding mountains, and is hidden away in a secluded area of 2.5 acres of native bushland.
The accommodation is fully self contained with all amenities and is suitable for single families, couples or large groups.
